Effingham Homes' outstanding reputation is based upon years of experience and knowledge in the manufactured and modular home industry. The owners of Effingham Homes, Steve Thoele and Tim Yocum, have been working in this business for over 30 years. In 1989 they decided to combine their expertise. This decision proved to be the beginning of an enduring partnership.

From 1989 to 2001, Steve and Tim worked in nearly every segment of the housing industry together. Based upon their hard working reputation and experience, they decided to start a retail home center. In 2001 Effingham Homes was created. Steve and Tim put forward their expertise in every aspect of the building process; transporting, set-up, constructing, finishing, and retail sales. They oversee each project Effingham Homes obtains.
